Exmark RED Technology

Exmark’s RED Technology Onboard Intelligence platform ensures your zero turn operates effectively.

The next generation patented RED Technology platform enables communication among key systems on your mower with defined operation modes, system monitoring and clutch saver features. RED technology results in increased machine efficiency and long-term durability.

RED technology gives users the ability to control mower power and productivity with defined performance modes. The updated operating control panel has sealed key switch, PTO connections, and a new console-mounted LCD display screen which provides an easy way to monitor essential mower functions, mower health, and operating and property statistics.

Defined Operation Modes

The new RED control module includes a LCD display screen with three multi-function buttons. These buttons allow you to navigate through the menu screens or choose from three defined operating (RPM) modes.

Users can choose from six customizable engine speed set points for the Low, Efficient and Max modes. Low Mode allows optimal performance in wet or lush grass conditions. This mode delivers plenty of power with lower blade tip speeds, reliable performance, and the lowest fuel consumption.

Efficient Mode provides maximum performance power with reduced noise, emissions, and fuel consumption for maximum efficiency under normal mowing conditions. Max Mode maintains RPM and provides maximum power, speed, and fuel consumption for operating in demanding conditions.

RED Technology System Monitoring

The patented RED Technology system monitoring tracks oil pressure, engine temperature, and the overall electrical system. The machine is placed in Safe Transport Mode if critical engine or system issues are detected. The system will give you a visual warning of critical system issues.

Clutch Saver Feature

With the clutch saver feature, the patented RED Technology system increases clutch life and improves operator efficiency. This feature temporarily reduces engine RPM when the clutch is engaged to reduce component stress and wear.
