Customer Service Representative - Farmington Hills, Utica, Clarkston, Ann Arbor, Cedar Springs


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides friendly and professional customer service.
  • Follows established customer service processes.
  • Handles customer's concerns and complaints as assigned.
  • Refers customers to appropriate locations or resources.

Service CoordinatorAnn Arbor


Weingartz is looking for a Service Coordinator to assist the Service Technicians by staging work areas and following up on service orders. 


Responsibilities:

  • Stage equipment for service techs throughout the day.
  • Prepare the triage process for both morning and afternoon.
  • Check equipment in and tag with red ribbon.
  • Unload and load equipment that customers are dropping off for repairs or picking up
  • Keep staging areas for equipment organized.
  • Thoroughly clean equipment prior to it entering service department (This can happen at the red or blue stage).
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, improve and promote quality, and monitor own work to ensure quality.
  • Observe all safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.*

  • Service/repair experience required.
  • Hi-Lo operator experience.

Summary 

Experienced and dedicated Service Technician. Small Engine repair experience in outdoor power equipment or automotive.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Experienced Gasoline and Diesel Technician needed to repair all Residential Lawn Tractors, Commercial Landscape Equipment, and Compact Tractors.
  • Diagnosis and repair all aspects of Electrical and Hydraulics, Pumps & Motors.
  • Must be able to repair & replace complete engines overhauls, short blocks and top-end & repair Transmissions.


Key Requirements:

  • Previous repair and service work of minimum 3 years.
  • EETC Certifies is highly recommended.
  • Must own tools and testing equipment.
  • Proficient in Top-end rebuilds, short-blocks and complete overhauls on both Gasoline & Diesel Engines.
  • Proficient in Electrical and Hydraulics arena.
  • Diagnosis and repair cutting and deck issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Presents self, company, and solutions in a highly professional and polished manner to clients providing courteous and prompt service. 
  • Welcomes customers as they enter and thanks them as they leave.
  • Builds customer confidence by making the store experience interactive, engaging and reassuring effectively using store displays and interactive devices for customers. 
  • Maximizes customer experience by "solving the whole problem" (as opposed to pushing products); Identifies customer needs and directs them to an appropriate product; Uses suggestive selling and recommends items that will appeal to customer budget and needs.
  • Answers any questions the customer may have. Handles customer inquiries as they relate to product offerings, pricing, billing, etc.; Handles customer escalations.


Job Details:

Position Type: Regular Full-Time


Compensation: Hourly (Non-Exempt) + Commission.


Days / Hours of Operation: Monday - Saturday; 55+ hours per week during the peak season

Shipping & Receiving Support - Farmington Hills, Utica


Summary

Ensures warehouse inventory is well-maintained and properly received, stored, and shipped by performing the following duties personally.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include Assisting In;

  • Daily loading and unloading of trucks
  • Checking in all incoming freight orders against packing lists/shippers, verifying correct shipments and serial numbers, submitting for and following up on shortages/overages/damages
  • Receiving all equipment orders into the computer system, including inputting correct serial numbers the same day they are received
  • Staging allocated inventory for customer pickup
  • Notifying Sales/Customer Service Representatives of back ordered items received
  • Communicating with other locations regarding equipment transfers, preparing and shipping all equipment transfers between stores and receiving equipment transferred in
  • Ensuring that seasonal equipment is readily available for Set-Up personnel
  • Putting away and bin  locating all uncommitted stock
  • Keeping warehouses/aisles/shelves organized and clean, free of debris and clutter
  • Immediately moving received equipment into warehouses and parts into the parts receiving area, keeping the parking lot and loading docks clear
  • Relocating shelves/stock to accommodate for incoming orders based on season or larger order size
  • Inventory cycle counts of serialized inventory and accessories, correcting any discrepancies with stock or within the computer system
  • Organizing and scheduling of empty returnable crates
  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, and management


Education and/or Experience                                            

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Hi-lo experience is a plus.
